Unter dem Motto „How decarbonisation, digitalisation and circular solutions forge the sustainable European steel future“ versammelte das diesjährige ESTEP Annual Event Expert:innen aus ganz Europa, um Wege zu einer klimaneutralen und wettbewerbsfähigen Stahlindustrie zu diskutieren.

K1-MET war mit zwei Beiträgen vertreten:

• Posterpräsentation von Hadi Barati: „Nozzle clogging in steel continuous casting: multi-phase multi-physics simulations“
• Präsentation von Thomas Bürgler: „Update on Hy4Smelt – Hydrogen-based direct reduction and smelting of ultra-fine iron ores to green hot metal“
