K1-MET at ASMET Forum for Metallurgy and Materials Technology 2022 as part of the FFG project IRONER

On 18th May 2022, the ASMET Forum for Metallurgy and Materials Technology will take place at the Montanuniversität Leoben. The theme of this year's event is "Circular economy in the metal producing industry".
 

K1-MET will participate in cooperation with Technische Universität Wien (Institute for Water Quality and Resource Management) and Joanneum Research (LIFE - Institute for Climate, Energy and Society) as part of the FFG Project "IRONER - Potentials for innovative and sustainable recycling of steel" by presenting

"Scrap volumes in Europe and potential uses in Austria - limits and opportunities of increased scrap use for the production of high-quality steel products".

The project IRONER (project number FO999889868) is 100% funded within the framework of the RTI initiative Circular Economy (FTI-Initiative Kreislaufwirtschaft). The RTI initiative circular economy is a research, technology and innovation initiative of the Austrian Federal Ministry for Climate Protection, Environment, Energy, Mobility Innovation and Technology (BMK). It is handled by the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG) on behalf of the BMK.
