K1-MET participated in the international conference COAST25: Catalysis and Surface Chemistry at the Interface of Sustainable Industry Transformation held at TU Wien in Vienna. COAST25 brought together leading experts from academia and industry to bridge the gap between cutting-edge research and real-world applications. The event provided a platform to network, exchange ideas, and drive innovation in sustainable solutions.
K1-MET contributed with a scientific poster from Nina Plankensteiner showcasing the initial results from pilot plants on CO2 capture and utilization (CCU) as part of the ZEUS (Zero Emissions through Sector Coupling) project.
ZEUS is dedicated to demonstrating a circular carbon economy by capturing CO2 from real flue gas streams and converting it into valuable chemicals for use in the industrial process chain. This project is funded by the Klima- und Energiefonds and is carried out within the framework of the “Energieforschungsprogramm 2022”.
