On 4 November 2025, K1-MET participated in Zukunft.Ressourcen 2025 in Mauthausen. The fourth of five satellite events of Zukunftsforum 2025 addressed the topic “Sustainably Producing: Circular Economy in Industry”.

Together with the UAR Innovation Network, Johannes Gabl on behalf of K1-MET presented current research activities and project examples at the joint booth.

The event focused on resource scarcity, circular value creation, environmentally responsible production and opportunities for industry arising from digitalisation and artificial intelligence. Expert presentations and best-practice cases illustrated which changes in industrial value chains are necessary to create long-term competitiveness and economic benefit. The programme also included site visits at TriPlast GmbH and TBS Technische Behandlungssysteme GmbH.
