Nina Plankensteiner presented results from K1-MET’s CO₂ capture & conversion pilot plants running with real flue gas as part of the FFG project ZEUS in her talk “Closing the Carbon Loop through CCU in Steel Industry and Beyond”. Zeus is funded by the Klima- und Energiefonds and is carried out within the “Energieforschungsprogramm 2022”.

Nina Plankensteiner co-supervised the PhD thesis of Marieke van Leeuven at imec titled “Solid-State Electrolyte and CO₂ Sorbent Materials for Gas Diffusion Electrodes” and was part of the examination committee at the public defence at KU Leuven.” A great PhD journey came to a successful end with this official event!
