K1-MET at a Symposium from the Austrian funded project SuSteel

A symposium dedicated to hydrogen-based steel production was held within the frame of the Project SuSteel, which is funded by the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG). This event took place at the Montanuniversität Leoben on February 5, 2020.

K1-MET was part of the programme. CEO Thomas Bürgler presented a contribution on hydrogen production using renewable energy. Dr. Axel Sormann (Senior Expert) gave a review on past research activities regarding hydrogen smelting reduction, which were done by the Chair of Ferrous Metallurgy (Montanuniversität Leoben). Alexander Rimser (Senior Expert) presented the currently running project SuSteel.
