His working place is at the K1-MET office Leoben. He is part of the team operating the Hydrogen Plasma Smelting Reduction pilot plant. His responsibilities include test execution and evaluation, maintenance of mechanical systems, spare parts management, process improvement, as well as involvement in plant and prototype construction. Mario graduated from the Higher Technical Institute (HTL) in Leoben, specializing in Metallurgy and Environmental Technology.
