Visit of the Upper Austrian Future Academy at K1-MET: The Role of Hydrogen in the Future

K1-MET welcomed representatives of the Upper Austrian Future Academy to discuss the technological challenges, opportunities and industrial relevance of hydrogen in future metallurgical processes.

The exchange focused on the K1-MET success story, areas and projects, the transformation of the energy system, and pathways towards sustainable and climate-friendly steel production.

The visit concluded with an insight to H2Future, ZEUS and Hy4Smelt, providing latest status of the running pilot and demonstration projects.
