New EU project “HydroStaeube” launched on 1st of January 2023

We are pleased to announce the start of our project "HydroStaeube – Hydrometallurgical recovery of supply-critical metals from dusts of the iron and steel industry” of Zukunftsfonds Steiermark.

In the framework of the "Green Tech X" programme of the Styrian Future Fund, this project has a total budget of 250,000 € and a duration of 24 months. K1-MET is researching on the recycling of steel mill dusts through different hydrometallurgical leaching steps with scientific and industrial partners (MUL, Andritz AG and voestalpine AG). K1-MET takes over the management of the DEC activities and focuses on the potential applications of the generated secondary products.

More details about the project "HydroStaeube" can be found under our Non-Comet projects.
