The annual climate conference, the AUSTRIAN WORLD SUMMIT in Vienna, is the central element of the Schwarzenegger Climate Initiative. The 8^th AUSTRIAN WOLRD SUMMIT at the Vienna Hofburg was hosted by Arnold Schwarzenegger and the Austrian Federal President Alexander Van der Bellen. Monika Langthaler, organiser of the conference and head of the Schwarzenegger Climate Initiative, was also present.

On 20 June, environmentalists from all over the world gathered in the Hofburg for the eighth time. The 2024 motto was “Be Useful: Tools for a Healthy Planet”. The thematic focus was on green investments, the presentation of successful examples of transformation and the improvement of framework conditions for an environmentally friendly lifestyle.

New this year was the AUSTRIAN WORLD SUMMIT Solutions Expo, an environmental fair for all interested parties on the ground floor of the Vienna Hofburg. K1-MET sponsored the AUSTRIAN WOLRD SUMMIT with a stand on the topic of Powerplayground, a project of the Energiewende Linz association.
