At Zukunft.HR 2026, held under the theme “Moving Forward with Attitude!”, the focus was on current challenges in human resources management – particularly leadership, corporate culture, change, and dealing with crisis situations.

Gerold Huemer, Authorised Representative and HR Manager at K1-MET, spoke alongside Cornelia Birklbauer from Caritas Upper Austria in the session “Leading with Attitude – Strengthening People and Companies in Times of Crisis.” The discussion centered on how leaders can support employees facing personal or professional crises in a professional yet compassionate manner. A key focus was on workplace social counseling and its role in supporting both employees and companies.
