On 1 February, Michael Zarl, Team Lead, gave a presentation on behalf of K1-MET at the “TUEV AUSTRIA Tag der Werkstoff- & Schweisstechnik”.

This conference is a networking event in the field of materials, welding and testing technology and enables those responsible for welding and testing technology as well as interested parties to find out and exchange information about the latest developments in the industry.

The title of his presentation was “Renewable energy meets future steelmaking”.

Michael Zarl gave insights into the future of green steelmaking. He discussed the current status and innovative approaches in the field. Michael Zarl also highlighted the close connection between steel production and the creation of capacities in the renewable energy sector.
