K1-MET at the TransZeroWaste workshop and project meeting

At the beginning of December (3rd and 4th), Lukas Schmidt and Melanie Leitner represented K1-MET at the TransZeroWaste consortium project meeting in Brussels (Belgium) and the first TransZeroWaste workshop.

This hybrid event aimed to present scientific results and insights from the TransZeroWaste project to the stakeholders. The presentation included the projects pathway to sustainable steelmaking, pelletising and briquetting, microwave-assisted processes in steelmaking, exploring hydrometallurgical treatment and integration of sustainability indicators into a Decision-Support Platform.
