Arleen Walk and Christa Muehlegger participated at the “Siemens Next Level Digital Innovators Forum” in London, held from 16 to 17 April 2024.

The event brought together Siemens Process Automation Software customers and Siemens experts to explore engineering best practices and process modelling.

Christa Muehlegger gave a presentation about the work of K1-MET GmbH within the SMARTER-project, utilizing the flexible software environment gPROMS.

The title of her presentation was “Decarbonizing steel production: A path to net-zero emissions through process simulation with a gPROMS digital twin”.

Furthermore, Arleen Walk and Christa Muehlegger participated in pre-conference workshops at the Siemens London office on 15 April 2024. Among other aspects, they expanded their knowledge on interfacing gPROMS with the programming language python and designing digital process twins for flexible hydrogen production in gPROMS.
