K1-MET at the Robot Olympiad District Linz – Empowering Young Innovators

  • HTL LiTec in Linz, Upper Austria
  • 24 March 2026

We are proud to share a great example of how early engagement in technology can inspire the next generation.

As part of the TECHNIKTALENTE initiative, K1-MET had the opportunity to act as a partner company for the Adalbert Stifter Praxismittelschule. The robot olympiad district linz is a regional competition where students work in small teams to build and program robots to solve annual challenges, inspiring enthusiasm for science and technology.

At this year’s competition, held at HTL LiTec on 24 March 2026, three teams from the Adalbert Stifter Praxismittelschule – guided by their dedicated teacher Alexander Thaller – showcased their skills and innovation.

We are especially proud to celebrate that one of the teams (Mecha Mind) achieved an outstanding 3rd place.

Congratulations to all participating students for their creativity, teamwork, and passion for technology. Initiatives like this highlight the importance of developing technical talent at an early stage – and we’re excited to continue supporting young innovators on their journey.
