Alexandra Kogler, Project Manager at K1-MET GmbH, and Andreas Zauner, Senior Expert at the Energieinstitut an der JKU Linz, presented the ZEUS – Zero Emissions throUgh Sector Coupling project at the IEA Vernetzungstreffen.

As part of the International Energy Agency (IEA) networking meeting, hosted by the Federal Ministry for Climate Action, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology, they highlighted how ZEUS is paving the way for decarbonizing steel and cement industries through green hydrogen, CO₂ capture, and innovative sector coupling approaches.

The ZEUS project is funded by the Klima- und Energiefonds and is carried out within the framework of the “Energieforschungsprogramm 2022”.
