The Horizon Europe-funded project H2PlasmaRed held a productive project meeting which was kindly hosted by our partner Swerim at their testing facility, which plays a key role in the project.

One of the goals of H2PlasmaRed is the temporary retrofitting of SWERIMs DC-EAF. The results obtained during the planned one-week campaign this autumn will serve as a valuable input for the operation of our own 200 kg/h fully integrated continuous HPSR setup in Donawitz.

During the visit, we reviewed the preliminary work already completed on site and engaged in valuable technical discussions and knowledge exchange. Beyond the technical sessions, there was also time for informal networking and friendly socializing. Despite the chilly temperatures of around –20 °C, the snowy surroundings provided a truly memorable setting for the meeting.
