On 11 September 2024, the “FFG FORUM 2024 – 12. COMET Zentren Plattformtreffen” took place at the Architekturzentrum Wien. Thomas Buergler, CEO of K1-MET GmbH, and Gerold Huemer, Authorised Representative of K1-MET GmbH, took part in the event organised by the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG).

The presentation on the topic of mission/transformation in research gave a good overview of how research and development has developed in recent decades. Among other topics, the future challenges for research and innovation and the new priorities for transformation were also presented. The second lecture block focused on EU projects.
