At the Female Tech Summit in the Ursulinenhof in Linz, the focus was on women in IT, technology, research and innovation. Pupils, students, early-career professionals, career changers and experts came together to network, exchange experiences and explore diverse career opportunities.
The event featured inspiring insights into current technological developments as well as practical discussions on workforce development and diversity. Together with the UAR Innovation Network, Anna Sieber and Rebeka Frueholz from K1-MET also presented the FuLIBatteR project at a dedicated exhibition stand.
A highlight of the programme was the UAR Innovation Network panel discussion “Women in Applied Research – Role Models, Innovation & Future Talent”. The discussion addressed the importance of role models in applied research, the role of innovation and the attraction of future talent.
Rebeka Frueholz contributed her personal experiences and insights into working in applied research, providing valuable perspectives on career paths and opportunities in the field.
