K1-MET was pleased to participate in the Austrian Symposium on CO₂ Conversion, organized by WIVA P&G. The event was initiated by the consortium of the ZEUS – Zero Emissions throUgh Sector Coupling project and took place at the JKU Linz UniCenter on 29 April 2025.

The event brought together leading experts from industry and research to discuss innovative approaches for the utilization of CO₂ in Austria and Europe. The goal of the symposium was to provide a comprehensive overview of both established and emerging technologies for the use of CO₂, while strengthening dialogue between science, industry, and politics.

K1-MET was represented by Irmela Kofler, Management Area Decarbonisation & Sector Coupling, with a presentation entitled “Closing the carbon cycle in the energy intensive industry – ZEUS project”.
