The Latin America’s largest technical and scientific event in the fields of metallurgy, materials, and mining, ABM Week reached its 8^th edition with the mission of promoting technological exchange and industrial development and improving the competitiveness of these industries’ players. The conference was held by ABM (Brazilian Metallurgy, Materials and Mining Association).

The programme included technical and plenary sessions, panels, round tables, awards, homages, cocktails, and other activities. Moreover, sponsoring companies had the opportunity to show their products and services in the exhibition area and make business contacts through the Business Rounds.
