K1-MET researchers contributed to the 31st Symposium on Plasma Physics and Technology and presented the latest research on plasma-based metallurgical processes, plasma transport phenomena, and plasma–liquid interactions.
Hamideh Hassanpour gave a talk on “PlasmArc4Green: Integrated Modelling and In-Situ Diagnostics for Plasma-Based Green Metallurgy” (co-authored by Erwin K. Reichel and Magdalena Schatzl).
Mohammad Faiz Khan gave a presentation on “A First-Principles Framework for Plasma Transport and Thermodynamic Properties Based on Quantum Collision Modelling”.
Saloni Kansal presented the poster “Modeling of Multicomponent Liquid Evaporation Relevant to Plasma–Liquid Interactions”.
The contributions highlighted K1-MET’s ongoing efforts to advance plasma technologies and modelling approaches that support more sustainable metallurgical processes.
