The 2nd Austrian Symposium on CO2 Conversion Technologies at Johannes Kepler University Linz brought together experts from industry, research and policy to exchange perspectives on current developments, challenges and opportunities in CO2 utilisation.

As part of the ZEUS – Zero Emissions throUgh Sector Coupling project, K1-MET researchers Irmela Kofler and Nina Plankensteiner presented the contribution of ZEUS to advancing CO2 conversion technologies, with a particular focus on CO2 electrolysis and electrochemical pathways for carbon utilisation.

The symposium provided a valuable platform for interdisciplinary exchange and highlighted the importance of collaboration across sectors to accelerate the transition towards more sustainable industrial processes and circular carbon management.
