K1-MET at the “28th International Congress of Chemical and Process Engineering – CHISA 2026”

Reyhane Aghaei Dinani from K1-MET had the pleasure of attending CHISA 2026 in Prague, where she got the opportunity to present a poster on “Demonstrating a novel high-temperature macro-TGA system for calcination and sintering: design, construction, and performance validation.” The co-authors are Barbara Weiss, Matthias Kiss, Matthias Golda, Christian Jordan, Markus Boesenhofer and Michael Harasek.

The work focuses on the design, construction, and experimental validation of a novel Macro-TGA system developed to investigate calcination and sintering under high-temperature, industrially relevant conditions. The system provides new possibilities for studying thermochemical processes at a larger sample scale and for generating experimental data that can support process understanding and model validation.

It was a great opportunity to present the work, exchange ideas with researchers and professionals in the field, and have valuable discussions around high-temperature processes, thermogravimetric analysis, calcination, and sintering.
