The 21st status meeting of the HBI C-Flex project took place in Freiberg, Germany, from 21 to 22 January 2026 and was hosted by TU Bergakademie Freiberg (TUBAF). With K1-MET as the project coordinator, Melanie Leitner and Lukas Schmidt joined on site, together with 10 participants in Freiberg, while the remaining partners participated online.

Over the two days, discussions focused on aligning activities and making the most of the final year of the project. After the meeting, participants had the opportunity to join a guided tour of TUBAF’s laboratory facilities. There we could gain valuable insights into the research infrastructure supporting the project.
