Exchange with representatives from the Province Upper Austria and UAR

On 13 November 2023, K1-MET had a nice exchange with representatives from the Province Upper Austria (Ms. Auer and Mr. Huber from Upper Austrian Government, Mr. Proell from UAR – Upper Austrian Research GmbH), one of the funding provinces of our K1-MET competence center.

Prof. Susanne Michelic (CSO) and Dr. Johannes Rieger (Area Management Metallurgical Process Efficiency & Circularity) presented the research activities at the Leoben location of K1-MET GmbH.

They exemplarily introduced cooperative projects with partners from industry and science within the frame of the COMET competence center from the Austrian Research Promotion Agency – FFG).

Special thanks also goes to our colleagues Wolfang Reiter and Michael Zarl for showing laboratory plants dedicated to hydrogen metallurgy and dust recycling.
