The second Review meeting of the Horizon 2020 SPIRE Project DESTINY virtually took place on December 14, 2021.

K1-MET was represented by the project manager, Lukas Schmidt.

The work package leaders of the project presented the work done and the achieved goals and milestones. At the place of the plant engineer, the demo version of the microwave is constructed and equipped with a control system. The external expert of the DESTINY project Charalambos (Bob) Varelas, Member of the Board at Hellenic Association of Chemical Industries, stated that the consortium, the management and the coordination are very good. Fátima González Gómez, project officer of the DESTINY project, was positively surprised that the project team act ahead and said: “Overall, it is a very good team and I am really impressed by the work and the reporting. I think the coordination is one of the best I have come across.”
