The 6^th Hydrogen Industry Day took place for the first time in Vienna under the title “H2 Future begins now”.

This is an international energy congress in the German-speaking and Scandinavian regions as well as in the Baltic States, which serves as a platform for know-how transfer and business networking.

The professional event invites participants to engage with a wide range of current hydrogen topics, to look beyond the boundaries of the specialist field and to discuss and realize opportunities for new economic connections.

Irmela Kofler, Area Management Decarbonisation & Sector Coupling, participated in the 6^th Hydrogen Industry Day She gave a presentation on the various aspects of the use of green hydrogen in the steel industry, with the aim of achieving an energy supply in Austria that is 100% based on renewable resources. The title of her presentation on 24 April was “ZEUS – Zero Emissions through Sector coupling”.

The ZEUS project is funded by the Klima- und Energiefonds and is carried out within the framework of the “Energieforschungsprogramm 2022”.
